Expanding Our Computer Store Offerings
Though our computer store has been the leader in the area for computer sales, it doesn’t mean that we should rest on our laurels. When we unseated one of our competitors from being the leader in the area, we knew that it could happen to us as well – so we needed to make sure that we did what was necessary to ensure that didn’t happen.
But one of the things that was going to be a challenge was to find something new to offer the community. It wasn’t like we could sell exclusive computer parts or limited edition computers – there just wasn’t enough demand for them.
So what are we going to do?
Well, Stacy, one of our computer techs came up with the idea to offer computer rentals. We already offered laptop rentals and I don’t know why we didn’t think of renting desktop computers, but it will be something that we are starting next week. We’ll have to figure out the details and the specifics of what we will be offering, but I am sure the response will be great.
I think that in the future we will ask our staff and our customers as to what they would like us to offer them for products and services since it worked out so well this time.
