Blogging My First Ever Modeling Gig
So its day five out here in Colorado and the shoot is going great. I was really nervous coming out here blind at the tender age of 18 but the photographs I have taken so far have come out wonderfully. The first day we headed into the woods right next to our hotel. We did some very abstract shots where I practically blended in with the bark and leaves of the trees. I saw a few of the frames and it looked so beautiful! We’re on our way to another resort as I write this from the back of the van. Its way up in the mountains where there’s an average of 16 feet of snow falling each day!
At first, I’m modeling the new line of winter wear for the catalog before I delve into what I’m most nervous about…the swimwear line! Being kind of an amateur in this business, I haven’t done any photo shoots in bikinis or underwear so far. My director tells me we are heading to the jacuzzis in the resort where I will don a bikini and a fur hat with gloves. It sounds pretty artsy so I’m looking forward to seeing how it turns out. After that we’re going to the outdoor spas of the hotel where they are going to focus on the steam of the hot tub water meshing with my steamy cold breath. It sounds really awesome I hope it comes out that way in the picture! After that, there will be a snow angel scene where I’ll be in white and sparkling diamond jewelry. I’ll literally be making angels in the snow which will give the photo a really playful touch. Can’t wait for you all to see the full catalog of pics! See you when I get back in town!
