How to Scrapbook Wedding Invitations
Even people who don’t do a whole lot of scrapbooking are inclined to create scrapbooks for very special events like weddings. If you’re not familiar with how to scrapbook the wedding mementos and photos that you have left after the wedding is over, you might want to follow some of these tips for using wedding invitations in your scrapbooking.
- Use leftover wedding invitations as the background to pages. This will help to create a theme and pull the look of the scrapbook together.
- Let the wedding invitations dictate some of the other designs to be used throughout the scrapbook. For example, if you have butterfly wedding invitations then you might want to use butterfly and flower stickers and pictures to compliment the invitations in the album.
- Use colors that compliment the wedding invitations well. If you have white roses wedding invitations, plan to use more colorful papers. If you have colorful invitations, use more whites and neutral colored papers in the scrapbook.
- Choose photos wisely. You don’t want to have more photos than mementos (like the invitations) so you want to be very selective in which ones you choose.
The basic idea is that you want to use the wedding invitations as the foundation for the wedding scrapbook. Then you want to build around them.
