Unique Uses for Temporary Fencing
I am a really big fan of found art and recyclable art. I love the idea of taking items that are just headed to the trash and re-purposing them in a creative way. I think it’s best if these items can be turned into something useful but it’s even cool when they are just turned into art.
I recently came across a unique example of this in which temporary fencing had been repurposed into structural art. I have no idea why the artist had a bunch of temporary fence panels around his home but my guess is that at some point he got sick of storing them and decided to get creative with them instead.
The sculptures that he made included breaking down and welding the fencing into unique shapes. This got me thinking about the different things that I could do with temporary fencing if I let my imagination go wild. Perhaps the fence could be re-shaped into some sort of large photo frame? Or maybe the spaces between the bars could be filled in with mosaic art somehow?
I usually don’t get around to doing these types of found art projects. But the more often I see inspiring art like this from other people, the more inclined I feel to start getting creative on my own!
