Just Helping a Friend Out
I have been looking into Long Term Disability Insurance lately, and more specifically, I have been looking at Physician Disability Insurance because a doctor friend of mine was in an accident recently and it got me thinking. What would happen if he had become paralyzed or had another long term kind of disability that would hamper or impede or completely make it impossible for him to ever practice medicine again? What would happen with their bills, with their families, with their house and car and to all the things that they never thought about?
Doctors are so accustomed to making a lot of money, I imagine a lot of them are like my friend and have some big bills for all the different things they buy and enjoy in life thanks to their nice pay wages and they do definitely earn it. They do not have to worry that any place is ever going to run out of a need for health people either. Yet what if they do not consider that they are hurt so badly they can not be doctors anymore? I think it is important to safeguard themselves against that possibility so I am getting more information for them.
