So many diet plans don’t work and there are so many diet fads out there it isn’t funny. I see infomercials every night that talk about this or that diet plan. Six months from now, you will either find it at the dollar store or banned by the FDA.

Too many diets force you to starve yourself. Personally, I can’t stay on a diet for a long time if I am hungry all the time. When someone figures out a realistic way to get around that, then you will find a diet that is truly for everyone.

I have tried many diets and in the end, I had to make a custom plan that worked for me. Some of what I do hasn’t made sense to some people, but I have been able to take off a good amount of weight.

You need to keep in mind that everyone looses weight differently and that men loose weight differently than women. Also, you have to factor in physical activity, age, and stress levels.

If you want great examples of diets that don’t work, just do some research on the internet. You will find out quickly which ones work and which ones are the latest fad.

A friend of mine made a great observation regarding diets. Someone asked why there were so many and he outright said, “They don’t work. If they did, do you think I would still weight over 300 lbs?”

Choices are great in the fact that not everything works for everyone. I have tried some diets that have worked fine for some and I have not been able to lose weight.

Every week or two, there seems to be some type of new weight loss fad or exercise device being advertised on television. There wouldn’t be an obesity epidemic if there was a diet or several diets that worked for everyone.
