Will a masters in health administration pay off?
I was recently asked my opinion on whether or not taking the time to get a masters health administration degree would be worth the effort. My initial response was that any quality education program would always pay dividends at some point in the life of the person learning the knowledge to get the degree. Additionally, I’ve always felt that unless you are only going to school to party and goof off, making the sacrifices to learn will accelerate your options to earn.
Beyond that bit of immediate advice, I indicated the need to do some research to better understand what the market place was like currently. I also knew that I should see what type of future the analysts were predicting.
One of the recurring bits of information I came across was the School of Health Management that resides at the AT Still University. Their online programs are second to none. While it seems they are using all the latest technologies to bring online education right to your nearest computer, something else struck me even more.
AT Still really has its finger on the pulse of the healthcare industry. If I were considering going back to school in order to learn more about the healthcare industry, ATSU is the one school I’d put at the top of my list.
