Boat Parts: 3 Brands to Know
I have recently been doing a lot of research into different brands of boat parts. I’m looking into buying a boat but I want to make sure that I make a smart purchase. I’ve learned the hard way that you have to look at lifetime costs instead of just initial costs when figuring out which item to purchase. I want to get a boat that is going to have long-lasting affordable parts!
I’ve learned that there are basically three important brands to know when it comes to buying boat parts:
- Mercury. Whenever I do any research into boat parts, something always comes up about Mercury Outboard Parts so this one seems important.
- OMC. This is another brand name that keeps popping up as I look at different stores that sell boat parts and other marine supplies.
- Evinrude. Johnson / Evinrude is a huge brand name in boating so I’m definitely checking out the prices of different Evinrude parts.
I figured that I should get a boat that can use parts that come from one of the big name-brand companies. These parts should be durable, easy to find and possible to locate at a fair price. I hope I’m right about this one so I can get my boat without breaking the bank!

Finding the best discounts has to be done diligently if you do not want to end up in the water. while name brand products are always a bit expensive, there are also no name brand products that will do the job just as well.
