Cold Places I’d Consider Visiting
I am not a fan of the cold. I’m originally from Arizona so I tend to think that anything below 60 requires a sweater and anything below 30 requires that I leave the region. However, there are some cold destinations that I would be willing to visit. Those destinations are:
- Minnesota. I know - of all the places that you could visit why would you choose Minnesota? My boyfriend is from there and eventually I do want to meet his family. Since they all still live there and don’t travel much I think that it’s only going to happen if I travel to see them. Truth be told, I’d rather go during the summer but I’d be willing to go even in the cold.
- Canada. I really want to try skiing some day. My best friend insists that vacations to Canada offer the best skiing opportunities for beginners. At some point I hope to ski Canadian Rockies. We’ll see.
- Iceland. For all of the talk that I present about how I hate the cold, the single destination I’d love to visit most in the world is Iceland. It just sounds so magical and beautiful. I’d weather the storm for that one.
Are there any other cold destinations that a desert girl should consider checking out?
